Strategies to Achieve the Progress

1.    Increase number and stability of local businesses through access to incentives, marketing, training oppor- tunities and access to credit and capital.
2.    Promote a “Rogers Park Give Back” campaign that encourages RP businesses to donate/support local initiatives, nonprofits, events, etc.
3.    Increase number of residents employed.
4.    Increase and/or provide access to training and education to further develop a skilled and competitive workforce.
5.    Increase the number of Schools, Churches, Businesses and Organizations that teach, promote and pursue recycling, reuse, air quality, water conservation, and issues related to community and personal health.
6.    Increased teaching and re-skilling related to gardening, cooking, food preservation, canning, freezing, biking, energy consumption, urban growing etc.
